NSSE is pleased to announce that the 2024 administrations of NSSE and FSSE have launched and are in the field.
373 participating institutions have registered and customized the NSSE survey to their specific needs and will have access to raw live data downloads in the spring before receiving their data reports in the summer.
Results for 541 colleges and universities that participated in NSSE 2023 are now available. Approximately 1.5 million first-year and senior students were invited to participate. Of this population, 354,067 students responded.
Additionally, NSSE has released its 2023 Annual Results, the latest edition of Engagement Insights, an annual dissemination of research findings and institutional stories.

Institutions can customize our surveys to their specific needs, including Topical Modules, Consortia, and Open-Ended Student Comments, as well as administration methods and reporting data.
After customizing NSSE and/or our other surveys to individual needs, institutions must promote the surveys on their campuses to ensure quality response rates and accurate data. NSSE offers helpful tips for these efforts.
NSSE delivers survey results in the form of several reports, including a Snapshot Report, a High-Impact Practices Report, a Multi-Year Report, a Comparison Report, a Major Field Report, and more.

Finding possible discrepancies between their NSSE results and other campus data related to students' engagement with people with different religious beliefs and political views, Biola created more opportunities for faculty training in inclusive pedagogy and added representation from the office of the Vice Provost of Inclusion and Cross-Cultural Engagement to the undergraduate curriculum committee.
