NSSE is pleased to release the second of five data-informed stories in Engagement Insights—Survey Findings on the Quality of Undergraduate Education, an annual series detailing important and timely NSSE findings. This installment, The LRCs of Academic Advising, uses results from the Academic Advising Topical Module to examine the extent to which advisors actively listen, respect identity and culture, and care about students’ well-being. These findings are complemented by a public Tableau dashboard, a special feature of student comments about advising, and examples from colleges and universities demonstrating their use of NSSE results related to advising.
