BCSSE is a locally administered survey. It is critical that each campus designates staff responsible for the administration of the survey and use of the data. At minimum, institutions are required to designate a Campus Project Manager (CPM) and a Campus Administrative Contact (CAC). The CPM is the primary contact for BCSSE staff and is responsible for the management of all the contacts. New contact requests should be submitted on our Contact Request Form.

The "Contacts and Billing Information" page in the "Administration Details and Survey URL" dashboard contains the currently approved contacts for your institution. If you do not have dashboard access or need any other assistance, you can email us at bcsse@indiana.edu.

Required Contacts

Campus Project Manager (CPM)

The CPM is the primary contact for BCSSE staff and is responsible for all aspects of BCSSE administration and management of accounts on your campus. The CPM is also responsible for keeping all the other accounts up-to-date. This contact has full access to the BCSSE dashboards, including the ability to view and download student-level personally identifiable and student self-reported academic performance.

Campus Administrative Contact (CAC)

The CAC is the secondary contact for BCSSE staff. This contact has full access to the BCSSE dashboards, including the ability to view and download student-level personally identifiable and student self-reported academic performance.

Auxiliary Campus Contact (ACC)

The ACC is a third contact for BCSSE staff. This contact has full access to the BCSSE dashboards, including viewing and downloading student-level personally identifiable data.

Guest

The Guest account allows you to safely share online results via the dashboards with others. The Guest account can only access institution summary results. The Guest account cannot view or download any student-level personally identifiable data. There is one account username and password that can be shared with the others at the discretion of the CPM. There is no limit to the number of users

Advisor

The Advisor account can view and download the online advising dashboard, which includes student-level personally identifying data for students who completed BCSSE at their institution. The advisor account manager will be assigned and approved by the CPM. There is one account username and password that can be shared with advisors at the discretion of the CPM and the advisor account manager. The CPM must approve any request to add an advising account manager. It is the sole responsibility of the advisor account manager and the CPM that only staff who are approved by their institution to view student-level personally identifiable data and academic records (advisors, success coaches, faculty, etc), has access to the advising dashboards. This account does not have access to other BCSSE dashboards. There is no limit to the number of users. The CPM or the advising account manager can change the password to this account as often as needed.

Billing Contact (Optional; default contact is CPM)

Billing Contact

Invoices will be sent directly to the CPM, but a Billing Contact may be added if your campus prefers the BCSSE invoice to be mailed to someone other than the CPM. The billing contact does not have access to any of the BCSSE Dashboards and provides no management for the BCSSE administration.
