Ella Chamis (she/they) is the Campus Liaison for the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) and the Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE). In addition to supporting NSSE and FSSE institutions, Ella is completing their Ph.D. student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) program at Indiana University. Ella’s research interests focus on the experiences of LGBTQ+ students, staff, and faculty in higher education, qualitative methodologies, and higher education governance and leadership.
