Jim Cole
BCSSE PROJECT MANAGER, RESEARCH ANALYST
Jim Cole is the project manager for the Beginning College Survey of Student Engagement (BCSSE) and provides research and data analysis support to various projects with the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE).
Jim earned his Ph.D. in educational psychology (with an emphasis in motivation) from University of Missouri. Prior to his current position, Jim has worked at California State University East Bay Concord Campus, Northern Arizona University, and Sterling College (VT).
His research interests include first-year programs and engagement and data quality in survey research.
