Angie L. Miller is a Senior Research Scientist in the Center for Postsecondary Research. Angie joined the CPR team in 2009, after completing a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from Ball State University. She also holds an M.A. in Cognitive and Social Processes from Ball State University and a B.A. in Psychology from Hanover College. Her primary responsibilities include research and data analysis for the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE), specifically focusing on development, data cleaning, and reporting for consortia and experimental items. Dr. Miller also serves as Data Consultant for the Strategic National Arts Alumni Project (SNAAP). Her research interests include the utilization of creativity in educational settings, factors impacting gifted student engagement and achievement, learning environments and motivation, survey methodology, and arts education.
Outside of work, Angie enjoys reading narrative nonfiction, ballet, nail art, re-watching classic 90’s TV shows, and spending time with her partner Reuben and their two dogs (Lucky and Betty) and cat (Noam Chomsky).
