Nearly 500 institutions have been busily preparing for the upcoming NSSE 2022 spring administration. Collecting meaningful, actionable data takes thoughtful planning. Some of the customization and survey preparations include choosing topical modules, joining a consortium, selecting survey participation incentives, and determining promotional efforts.
NSSE 2022 participants will benefit from a couple recent enhancements to NSSE’s core and supplemental content:
- New questions related to discussions with diverse others have been added to the core instrument:
During the current school year, how often have you had discussions with people from the following groups:
- —People with a sexual orientation other than your own
- —People from a country other than your own
- A new High Impact Practices Quality Topical Module is now being offered. This module—developed for the Assessing Quality and Equity in High-Impact Practices project, supported by Lumina Foundation—explores the extent to which HIP experiences incorporate elements theorized to account for their educational benefits.
